iPad Apps

If you have an iPad here are a couple great apps to help with learning.

MATH

Monkey Math ($1.99) This is a great app for the beginning of grade one.  As the year progresses some students may move past some of the tasks you have to complete.

Moose Math ($3.99) by Duck Duck Moose (the same creators of Draw & Tell)  I have not yet used this app as it is brand new.  Duck Duck Moose emailed me to tell me about it.  It looks fantastic though!




Hungry Fish (FREE) Mental math and addition practice.  








CREATIVITY/STORY MAKING

Draw & Tell  ($2.99) This app was by far the most used in our classroom last year.  We were able to draw pictures and then record our voice to tell a story.  We were also able to important photos and then draw on top of them and add our own voices.  The possibilities are endless we even used it for math.

Felt Board ($2.99)









PHONICS & WORD WORK

Pocket Phonics ($2.99) Great for kindergarten and the beginning of grade one!

Touch & Write  ($2.99) Practice word wall words with different mediums such as chocolate frosting, ketchup and whipping cream all without making a mess.

Word Wizard ($2.99) Practice word wall words and have them read back to you.

Magnetic Alphabet ($1.99)

Letter Reflex ($1.99) Great for students that are having difficulty with letter reversals.
