Attention Parents!

The April News has been posted under the Monthly Newsletters tab. I will put a copy in the window on Monday.  We are also looking to collect empty and CLEAN milk jugs and cartons for an upcoming project.

Back from Spring Break!

We have returned from Spring Break!
We all returned to school on Monday after two weeks of Spring Break.  Everyone was eager to share their stories about what they did over the break.  Can you believe there are only 3 months left of kindergarten?

Rainbows and Shamrocks

We have been working hard since last week to create a rainbow using all our handprints.  We finished today.  We also created shamrocks last week and Lucky Leprechauns to hang from the ceiling.  

iPods Again!

On Friday we were lucky enough to get to use the iPods again.  We explored 2 new apps; Pocket Phonics and Sock Puppet.  Sock Puppet was really fun because you got to pick your puppet(s) and background and then speak into the iPod and it would change your voice and allow the puppets to talk.  It was also a bit difficult because there isn't a lot of space in the classroom and the iPods are very sensitive so they easily picked up other noise which was frustrating for some students.  We still had fun trying it out, though.  Here are some photos of us using the iPods again.

The iPods have to go back to the district very soon, but hopefully we can get one more turn to use them.
