Pocket Phonics
The iPods have to go back to the district very soon, but hopefully we can get one more turn to use them.
Welcome to Mrs. Morrison's Grade One Class! This is a place for us to share what we are doing in our class and a place for parents to provide positive feedback.

iPods Again!
On Friday we were lucky enough to get to use the iPods again. We explored 2 new apps; Pocket Phonics and Sock Puppet. Sock Puppet was really fun because you got to pick your puppet(s) and background and then speak into the iPod and it would change your voice and allow the puppets to talk. It was also a bit difficult because there isn't a lot of space in the classroom and the iPods are very sensitive so they easily picked up other noise which was frustrating for some students. We still had fun trying it out, though. Here are some photos of us using the iPods again.

Dear Mrs Morrison's class,
ReplyDeleteWhy do you have ipods at your school?
Love Victoria
To Annabelle and Victoria,
ReplyDeleteWe were lucky enough to borrow the iPods for 3 weeks from out school district. We had to share with all the other classes in the school. They have some great learning apps on them. We really enjoyed working with them.
Love,
Mrs. Morrison's Class
