After reading chapter 3 of Marty McGuire today we had some questions and some predictions.
Questions:
1.) She's a girl. Girls like dress up. Why doesn't Marty like dress up? - Riley
2.) Why does Marty like to catch frogs? Frogs are for boys. - Charlize
Predictions:
1.) Marty will take the role of the princess. - Zuraiya
2.) Marty will have to kiss the prince. - Hailey
3.) Veronica Grace is going to be mean to Marty because she is jealous. - Kelsey
4.) Marty will be so surprised she'll run into the hallway. - Charlize
Hello from the middle of Minnesota! We are a second grade class & we read your questions and predictions. We know some girls just like to do things that most boys enjoy (like catching frogs) and some boys like to do things girls typically enjoy (maybe like cooking or playing dress-up)...that's just how people are unique. :) Kelsey, we think Veronica Grace is going to be mean, too. She seems very bossy. Hailey, we didn't even think about Marty having to kiss the prince - ewww-- if she does, she probably won't like that! Keep up the good work everyone!
