Shapes

We've begun studying shapes in math.  On Wednesday we went out to find shapes in our environment. We were looking for 2D shapes such as circles, squares, triangles and rectangles and also 3D shapes such as spheres, cylinders, cubes and cones.  We compiled all the pictures and created some pic collages today in small groups.  Here are a couple of examples but to see more check out our kidblog accounts.

I like how this group used a student's head as an example of a sphere.
