International Dot Day!

Did you know September 15 is International Dot Day?  Today we read The Dot by Peter Reynolds.  It is a story about Vashti, a student, who doesn't believe she can draw but with encouragement of her art teacher she begins to create beautiful dot art.  We were inspired and created our own dot art today.  Some of us turned the dots into faces, eyes, flowers, cars and pumpkins! Some of us created pages full of dots of different shapes and colours.
